KQ supplied a customized dual-gun plasma surface treatment system with two different tube lengths: one 3 meters and one 7 meters. The customized configuration was designed around the customer's actual installation and production requirements.
Plasma treatment equipment is not always installed in a standard layout.
Depending on the production line, the distance between the plasma generator, treatment area, and installation points can be different.
For this application, the customer required a dual-gun plasma system with two different tube lengths to match the actual equipment layout.
The requirements included:
2 plasma guns
1 × 3-meter tube
1 × 7-meter tube
Customized configuration for the customer's installation
KQ provided a customized dual-gun plasma surface treatment system.
The system uses two plasma guns with different tube lengths:
Plasma Gun 1 → 3-Meter Tube
Plasma Gun 2 → 7-Meter Tube
The different tube lengths allow the two plasma guns to be positioned according to the actual installation requirements.
Rather than using the same standard tube length for both guns, KQ configured the system based on the customer's production line layout.
In an automated production line, equipment layout can vary from one application to another.
The plasma treatment position may be close to the main unit in one application and further away in another.
Using customized tube lengths can make it easier to position the plasma guns where they are needed without forcing the production line to follow a fixed equipment layout.
For this project, the 3-meter and 7-meter configuration was selected to match the customer's specific installation requirements.
The different tube lengths provide greater flexibility when positioning the two plasma guns.
Two plasma guns allow the system to provide two plasma treatment points according to the production requirements.
The 3-meter and 7-meter tubes can accommodate different distances between the main system and treatment positions.
The system was configured around the customer's actual production line rather than using a fixed standard configuration.
Plasma treatment can be used before adhesive application to prepare the material surface and support the subsequent bonding process.
A typical production process can be arranged as:
Material → Plasma Surface Treatment → Adhesive Application → Bonding
The plasma treatment position and configuration can be adjusted according to the material, treatment area, and production line layout.
This project demonstrates one of KQ's key approaches to industrial automation:
We build the solution around the customer's actual production process.
The number of plasma guns, tube length, treatment position, and installation layout can all vary depending on the application.
KQ can provide customized plasma surface treatment solutions instead of limiting customers to one standard configuration.
Plasma surface treatment systems can be used for applications involving:
Printing & Packaging
Carton Packaging
Adhesive Application
Plastic Surface Treatment
Difficult-to-Bond Materials
Industrial Automation
Different production lines require different equipment layouts.
For this project, KQ supplied a customized dual-gun plasma surface treatment system with one 3-meter tube and one 7-meter tube, allowing the system configuration to match the customer's actual installation requirements.
Real application. Practical automation. Customized solutions.
